A music and singing group for people age 16 and up, in Bathgate. Sing your favourite songs and learn to play an instrument. Hour long classes run every week except during school holidays. Music and singing can be energising, uplifting and great fun. No musical experience is necessary to take part. There are opportunities to sing out in the community for those that wish and you will find the group very friendly and welcoming.
We run two community dance clubs for adults in Livingston and Bathgate. There’s no need to book, just turn up. Regardless of your mobility, independence and experience, come along, try us out and tell your friends. All classes include seated options for those with walking aids. Throughout the year there will be opportunities to both watch and learn from visiting and local dance tutors, travel through central Scotland to see other dance groups, opportunities to perform (not mandatory!) and to take part in other local arts activities. Contact us for more information or pop along to see for yourself.
Generation Dance (Bathgate): This group meets every Friday at 10.30am at Rosemount Gardens, Mid Street, EH48 1QW. Fed up meeting only twice a month, and with long breaks, participants volunteered to make a £4 weekly contribution which enables them to meet almost every week of the year. Let’s get dancing!
Generation Dance (Livingston): based at Livingston United Parish Church, Fells Rigg, EH54 8AX. A friendly and fun group for those over 50, on Thursday mornings at 10.30 am. Well established, the group has been running for over 15 years. They have been meeting weekly for almost two years thanks to the £4 weekly contribution per participant.
Shortly our classes will be taking a Christmas break. Please check our Facebook page for weekly updates.
