Volunteers can support Generation Arts by;
• Becoming a Trustee on our Board.
• Volunteering for our weekly arts classes.
• Volunteering for a one off event.
• Fundraising for our Charity.
• Promoting our projects by distributing leaflets
and posters in the local community.
A range of Volunteers roles are available;
Trustee: Attending Board
meetings once every two months. Boards make significant decisions
affecting the organisation’s operations, finances, and strategic
direction. These decisions are made collectively during board meetings.
Volunteering at weekly class / one off
event: This will involve helping to set up the space, this could
be putting out chairs / tables. Welcoming people as they enter the
space, helping to provide refreshments or supporting participants to
complete consent form or evaluations. Joining in the arts activities
and supporting participants to engage.
Fundraising: You may want to
donate to our Charity or raise funds by taking part in a Charity run.
Perhaps you want to hold a fundraising coffee morning or you want to
sell items that you no longer need and donate the money to Generation
Arts.
Marketing: Helping us to market
our classes and projects by popping up our posters in community
centres, libraries, shops, and health centres/doctors.
All our volunteers go through Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) checks, which are administered and paid for by Generation Arts.
