Special Projects

Generation Arts projects are bespoke and tailored to specific client groups

they are delivered by qualified and experienced community artists. We work with other third sector charities, Community Link Workers, NHS Lothian and elder care providers to reach out to adults who are at threat of isolation, loneliness and poor physical and mental health. We work with these partners (listed below) to identify the levels of need, demand and impacts required to support West Lothian’s population in their physical and mental health journeys.

• Carers of West Lothian.
• NHS Tonic Arts.
• Rosebery Centre for Dementia Care.
• Good Connections Community Wellbeing Project.
• Cyrenians OPAL (opportunities for active lives).
• Memory Information Support Team; Carers of West Lothian support this partnership with Cyrenians OPAL, the Food Train, Generation Arts and NHS Lothian’s OPCMHT.
• Care Activity Network.

Generation Arts are currently funded by Film Hub Scotland to deliver a Community Cinema Network for West Lothian. We have regular film screenings at The Regal Theatre, Howden Park Centre
